Ignite: Inspiring a New Global Narrative
February 15-18, 2019 | Cambridge, MA, USA

ON FEBRUARY 15-18, 2019,
300 DELEGATES FROM 90 COUNTRIES ATTENDED THE 2019 HARVARD COLLEGE CONFERENCE IN 6 UNIQUE TRACKS .

Asia’s astounding growth over the past decade has not been without challenges. Solutions to sustainable development remain elusive; alarming human rights abuses against women, refugees, and the LGBTQ community remain unanswered; rising wealth inequality, catalyzed by globalization, remain unaddressed. The 2019 HPAIR Harvard College Conference offered a platform to cooperatively confront these emerging challenges in Asia through dialogue and exchange that transcend geographical and cultural borders.

Delegates also had the opportunity to attend exclusive social events, including formal Opening and Closing ceremonies, an International night to share their cultural heritage through performances, and an Entertainment night to relax with other delegates in an informal setting. Select delegates shared about their experiences in a featured HPAIRx experience, an opportunity to inspire and inform other delegates in a TED-style talk.
